Why we Blog

By looking at original historic documents and artifacts, we can see how great leaders respond to crisis to make history. I invite your responses to the questions and issues raised in these posts.

This is admittedly the intellectual part of my operation. I have a website that lists documents offered for sale, including spectacular letters and manuscripts that changed the world. My website describes the documents, and the historic background, but one of the reasons I am in this business is because I enjoy attempting to capture the relationship between the past and the present. … Learning lessons, debating issues, finding inspiration!

I also like the idea of an extended, dynamic format to respond to current events in the light of what (we think) we see in these great manuscripts.
